[AmiVoice API] AWS PrivateLink Support Announcement
Starting August 18, 2026, we have begun offering private connections (closed network connections) using AWS PrivateLink for the "AmiVoice API".
By using AWS PrivateLink, you can connect from your Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) to the "AmiVoice API" speech recognition API without going through the public internet.
Connecting to the speech recognition API does not require an internet gateway, NAT Gateway, or public IP address. Therefore, the "AmiVoice API" can be used even from systems that prohibit or restrict internet access, and it also leads to simplified network configurations and, depending on the configuration, reduced associated costs.
This system is suitable for use in services that handle highly confidential voice data, such as those in finance and healthcare, and for systems that want to limit connections with external services to within the AWS network.
Main features
- Communication to the speech recognition API does not go through the public internet.
- You can continue using your current AmiVoice API key (speech recognition is processed on a shared server).
- An internet connection is still required to access services such as MyPage.
