[AmiVoice API] Notice of Change in Authentication Key Name (From APPKEY to API Key)
(Added on 2026-04-14 18:25(JST)) We have added "4. Changes to the Terms of Service".
Effective April 14, 2026, the authentication information previously referred to as "APPKEY" in the AmiVoice API has been changed to "API Key." Accordingly, we will be updating the terminology in MyPage, documentation, and API error messages accordingly.
Please note that your current APPKEY can continue to be used as your API key. There is no need to reissue it, and there will be no changes to its functionality or usage.
1. Rename the authentication key.
We have changed the terminology used for authentication keys in the AmiVoice API to make it more general and easier to understand.
The term "APPKEY" will now be referred to as "API Key".
・What was previously referred to as "one time APPKEY" will now be standardized to "API Key".
2. Changes to the manual structure
We have added a new page explaining API keys, and have revised the structure of the manual accordingly.
• The relevant section: "API key" and related pages
3. Changing API error messages
API error messages related to authentication information have previously included terms such as APPKEY, AppKey, and app_key. Starting April 14, 2026, these terms will be gradually standardized to "API key" (the English term for API key).
This change is for the purpose of standardizing names and terminology, and does not affect the value of your current API key or how you use it. We will continue to strive to provide clearer documentation and services. Thank you for your continued support of the AmiVoice API.
