[Oct 10 (Fri)] Participating in the panel discussion with AI Partner - AI PC Edition - at the "HP Future of Work AI Conference 3" hosted by HP Japan, Inc.
On Friday, October 3, we will be speaking at the panel discussion with AI Partner - AI PC Edition - at the HP Future of Work AI Conference 2025, hosted by HP Japan.
This event will introduce the cutting edge of "on-device AI" as part of the "Future of Work" strategy, which aims to increase the productivity and creativity of workers and support corporate transformation and improved well-being.
Until now, AI utilization has been centered on the cloud, but it is now shifting to "on-device AI," ushering in an era where new AI experiences featuring security, speed, and flexibility through the use of AI PCs and AI workstations will further enhance the creativity and productivity of workers. In particular, "on-device AI" has become a realistic solution for utilizing confidential data held by companies, government agencies, and educational institutions, and its advantages, such as reduced query costs, fast response, offline support, and customizability, are providing a major boost to its adoption.
Furthermore, advances in small language models (SLMs), the emergence of high-performance devices like Copilot+ PC, and the expansion of cross-platform and open source ecosystems have significantly lowered the barriers to adoption of on-device AI.
The panel discussion with AI Partner - AI PC Edition - will be themed around the theme of "How will Japanese speech recognition technology and local SLM integration change business and operations?" and will feature a panel discussion on the potential needs and development ideas of corporations and local governments, facilitated by HP Japan, with four companies - WEEL, which undertakes contract development of systems using generative AI; Workstyle Evolution, which provides training and support for the use of generative AI; and speech recognition vendor Advanced Media.
Also on the day, in the exhibition area, we will be exhibiting the voice recognition development kit "AmiVoice SDK" and the voice recognition API "AmiVoice API" provided by the voice tech platform for developers "AmiVoice Cloud Platform."
