Article 1 (Application of these Terms)

  1. These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set out the conditions for providing the AmiVoice speech recognition demo (hereinafter referred to as "this service") provided by Advanced Media Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "our company").
  2. Anyone who tries out the Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Trial User") is deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Article 2 (Service)

  1. This service converts uploaded audio data into text and displays the result on the screen.
  2. This service will be provided free of charge for the period specified in Article 4 for the purpose of allowing people who wish to learn about the accuracy of AmiVoice's voice recognition to try it out.
  3. This service is provided as is, and the Company does not provide any guarantee regarding this service. The user is solely responsible for the results of the trial use of this service.
  4. The Company may use the voice data uploaded for the trial of the Service and the text data created as a result of the trial of the Service for research, development, and quality improvement of the Company's products and services. However, the data will not be used in a form that could identify the trial user or the contents of the voice data or text data.
  5. All communication costs and other expenses incurred in trying out this service shall be borne by the trial user.
  6. This Service may not be used for commercial purposes.
  7. You may not allow any third party to use this service.

Article 3 (Service Period)

The period for which the Service will be provided may be determined at the discretion of the Company. Furthermore, the Company may discontinue the provision of the Service without prior notice to the Trial User.

Article 4 (Trial period for this service)

The trial time for this service is 1 seconds per trial. If you would like to try this service again, you can do so by clicking the voice recognition start button again. However, trial restrictions may be imposed for a certain period of time depending on the number of trials a trial user has performed in a certain period of time or the total trial time.

Article 5 (Temporary Suspension)

  1. We may suspend provision of the Service if any of the following events occur:
    1. When maintenance is performed due to a breakdown or other reason of equipment necessary for this service
    2. When it is unavoidable for operational or technical reasons
    3. When the Service is unable to operate due to force majeure such as natural disasters
  2. In addition to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Company may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service in order to conduct regular inspections of equipment necessary for the Service.
  3. We shall not be liable for any inconvenience, trouble, loss, or damage caused to the Trial User or any third party due to the inability to operate the Service due to the reasons set out in the preceding two paragraphs.

Article 6 (Changes to the Service Content and Terms)

  1. We may change the content of this service at any time without obtaining prior consent from the trial user.
  2. The Company reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time. If the Company changes these Terms of Use, the Company will post the changed Terms of Use on the website related to the Service.

Article 7 (Prohibited acts)

When using the Service, the Trial User shall not engage in any of the following acts:

  1. Falsifying information about this service
  2. Using the Service on a trial basis from anywhere other than this Site
  3. Sending or posting harmful computer programs, etc.
  4. Actions that infringe on the property, reputation, privacy, etc. of a third party or our company
  5. Collecting personal information of a third party or our company without the individual's consent or by fraudulent means
  6. Any action that interferes with the trial or provision of the Service
  7. Any act that infringes the copyright or other intellectual property rights of a third party or our company.
  8. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  9. Any act that damages the credibility of the Company or causes damage to the Company
  10. Any other actions that the Company considers inappropriate

Article 8 (Principle of self-responsibility)

  1. The Company does not guarantee that there will be no errors in the voice recognition results of the Service, or that the Service is otherwise complete, accurate, or effective. The Trial User shall use the Service at his/her own risk and discretion.
  2. Regardless of the legal basis for the claim, we shall not be liable to the trial user for any damages arising from the trial use or inability to use the Service.
  3. If the Trial User causes damage to a third party through the trial use of the Service, or if a dispute arises between the Trial User and a third party, the Trial User shall settle the matter at his/her own responsibility and expense. The same shall apply if the Trial User suffers damage from a third party in connection with the trial use of the Service.

Article 9 Article (damages compensation)

If the Trial User causes damage to the Company due to reasons attributable to the Trial User, the Trial User will be liable for compensation.

Article 10 (Suspension of Service)

If the Trial User violates these Terms and Conditions, the Company may suspend the Trial User's use of the Service without notice.

Article 11 (Trial Area and Governing Law)

  1. The trial area for this service is within Japan.
  2. The establishment, validity, interpretation and performance of these Terms and Conditions and the Trial Agreement based thereon shall be governed by Japanese law.

Article 12 (Court with Jurisdiction)

Any disputes relating to these Terms and Conditions or any trial agreement based thereon shall be handled by the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance with exclusive jurisdiction.
